World premiere musical. Story of Anna Edson Taylor, the real-life lady daredevil who survived a plunge over Niagara Falls. She was the first person to survive a spill over the falls in a barrel, in 1901. Taylor celebrated her 63rd birthday when she performed the perilous stunt. The musical spans the time period from right before her trip over the falls through her death in 1921.
Theatre’s casting note: “All of the actors play a number of [characters] of varying types. Need strong actors with exceptional voices, strong musicianship skills (excellent ear for harmonies), as well as great comedic and dramatic sensibilities.”

AVAILABLE. Early 30s - early 40s. Soprano with strong mix.

Anna Taylor:
CAST (Mary Testa). Late 40s – early 60s. Feisty, funny, driven, and tragically blind to her own faults. Mezzo soprano.
Frank Russell:
CAST. Mid 30s - early 40s. Sad man with many inner demons. Baritone.
Mike Taylor / Others:
CAST. Tenor. Mid - late 20s. Innocent, naïve and full of hesitant hope.
Jane / Others:
CAST. Soprano. 40s. Confused, guilty, and unable to see the world outside the comfort of her own marriage.
