10 AM - 5:30 PM each day

Lunch from 12pm – 12:30pm.

To schedule an appointment, call 207-774-1043 ext.107. AEA members without appointments will be seen as time permits. Note: appointments will be scheduled for Wednesday’s audition first. If all of the appointment slots have not been filled, the second day of auditions may be cancelled per Rule 5(E)(3) of the LORT Agreement.

Prepare one or two short monologues (three minutes total). Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

LAST GAS

Nat Paradis is stuck in a rut as the manager of LAST GAS, a convenience store in northern Maine that sits on the edge of what’s wild and what’s not. When an old flame returns to town, Nat gets another chance, but faces a choice between the possibilities of new love and old in this bittersweet, romantic comedy that looks at love lost... and found... and the curve balls life throws us. A new play from Maine playwright and award-winning actor, John Cariani, the author of Almost, Maine.

2 PIANOS 4 HANDS

As children, Ted and Richard don’t have much in common – except for the shared desire to become classical pianists. But does either of them have what it takes? 2 Pianos 4 Hands is a play with music that follows the dynamic and comical journey of two boys into adulthood, their musical aspirations gleaming like the grand pianos that they play masterfully on stage from beginning to end.

Margot Wright: The brother’s childhood friend (and Orville’s eventual wife)
