10:30am – Equity male dancers 500 Eighth Avenue, 12th Floor

2 PM – Equity female dancers New York, NY

Be prepared to dance. Females should bring heels (men do NOT need to bring heels for this call). Wear form-fitting attire. After dancing, you may be asked to sing 16 bars of a pop or disco song. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together. Males should not dress in drag for this call.

NOTE: Based on the Oscar-winning movie THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, the musical tells the funny and moving story of three drag performers who set off from Sydney across the Australian desert in a battered, old tour bus, christened Priscilla. The show contains over 20 classic pop and disco hits such as “I Will Survive,” “I Love the Nightlife,” and “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.”

Ensemble Dancers:

Males and Females, 20 – 40, all ethnicities. Performers with excellent acting, singing, and dancing ability are required to play a variety of ensemble characters and in several cases understudy principal roles. Males must be 5’10” or taller—any drag experience a plus. Females must have spectacular vocal ability
