Using New York Classical Theatre’s signature performance style, Panoramic Theatre, this unique production of Moliere’s shorter comedies hearkens back to the 17th century playwright’s roots in the commedia dell’arte. The characters of Playing Molière, including cuckolded husbands, sneaky servants, demanding fathers and quick-witted lovers, have inspired an entire generation of physical comedians such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and the Marx Brothers.
