| Breakdown
We need strong classical dancers. We are not looking for tap dancers, jazz dancers, or “hoofers.” In addition, there is the principal role of ‘Meg’ who is a member of the Corps de Ballet. She should appear to be between 16 and 18 years old. The range is mezzo-soprano to G. We will also be looking for girls for this role at this dance call. Casting for The Phantom of the Opera is interracial. Dancers of all ethnic backgrounds and races are encouraged to attend. There is no solo singing for the dancers (except ‘Meg’), but they will have to carry some vocal responsibility in the ensemble numbers. The 90 minute production of"The Phantom of the Opera" is currently playing at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. (6 day week - 10 performances)
