10 AM – Equity male dancers who sing Washington, DC
(Male sign-in: 9:30). Sign-in desk is in the Hall of States.
2 PM – Equity female dancers who sing
(Female sign-in: 1:30).
For an appointment, call 202/416-8203. Equity Members without appointments will be seen as time permits. The producer will run all aspects of this call. Equity Chorus Call procedures will NOT be in effect, and no Equity Monitor will be provided.
Please be warmed up and ready to dance when your gender’s call begins. Men: Jazz or character shoes. Women: Heels and form-fitting clothes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare two selections from traditional Broadway songs (ballad or up-tempo) that show off range and reflect the style of the show. NO POP, NO ROCK. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED A BONA FIDE WASHINGTON DC AREA RESIDENT, ACTORS MUST LEGALLY RESIDE WITHIN THE WASHINGTON DC METROPOLITAN AREA, WHICH INCLUDES BALTIMORE AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA. PER ACTORS’ EQUITY ASSOCIATION: ACTORS MAY NOT RELOCATE TO THE WASHINGTON DC AREA OR CHANGE THEIR ADDRESS TO THE WASHINGTON DC AREA FOR THE DURATION OF THIS CONTRACT IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED A BONA FIDE WASHINGTON AREA RESIDENT.
Dancer/Singers (M/F):
Characters are 20s – mid 30s. Performers need strong technique in all disciplines, including tap. Must also be strong, traditional musical theatre singers.
