Henry Brown: African-American Male, 40-55. Excellent lawyer. Seeking strong dramatic actor.

Charles Strickland: Caucasian Male, 50’s. Extremely rich defendant accused of rape. Seeking sympathetic dramatic actor.

Susan: African-American Female, 25-35. Young lawyer. Seemingly naive, but crafty and determined.

Jack Lawson: Role is cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.

Emilia: Female 30s-40s. Wife of Iago. Handmaiden to Desdemona.

Brabantio: Caucasian Male, 50s-60s. Jealous father of Desdemona.

Roderigo: Male 20s-30s. Foolish suitor to Desdemona. A dupe and fool.

Colonel Brandon: Male, 35-45. A retired Officer. In love with Marianne.

Elinor Dashwood: Female, 19. The heroine of Austen’s novel. Intelligent, beautiful, headstrong.

Edward Ferrars: Male, 20s. Sensible, honorable, handsome. In love with Elinor.

Mrs. Henry Dashwood: Female, 40s-60s. Sensible mother of the Dashwoods. Kind and loving.

Sir John Middleton: Male, 50s-60s – Jovial but vulgar relative of the Dashwoods. Comic, fatherly.

Mrs. Jennings: Female 50s-60s. Gossipy country relative. Well intentioned, jovial, but a bit vulgar.

Willoughby: 20s-30s – An attractive but deceitful suitor of Marianne’s. Abandons her for wealth.
