TINY DYNAMITE
By Abi Morgan
Directed by Matt Torney
1st reh: On/about 5/7/12. Runs at 59E59 Theatres, 6/7 until 7/1.
All roles are available:
LUCIEN - Male early 30s - A shy, uptight man who works in a risk assessment firm in the city. He is obsessively tidy, organized and responsible. He is fascinated by stories about freak accidents, miracles, and chance happenings which he tries to decode with logic. He has been best friends with Anthony since childhood.
ANTHONY - Male early 30s - Anthony is a daring and dynamic man who was struck by lightning when he was six and has been different ever since. He has a mental disorder that makes him manic and excitable, and also extremely emotionally vulnerable. He believes in miracles and spends several months of each year homeless. He has been best friends with Lucien since childhood.
MADELEINE - Female 20s - A free spirit. She hitchhikes round the country working seasonal jobs, looking for a sense of home she can never find. She is flirtatious, strong willed, adventurous and fun, but occasionally very lonely.
As well as TINY DYNAMITE, the company is also considering several scripts from Eastern European writers for a second production as well as their customary reading/workshop series.
Theatre staff states that they are willing to see non-Equity actors at the EPA (when no Equity actors are auditioning or waiting).
