Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant:
(early 40s) Persistent and persuasive in getting Lee to surrender. Commanding Armies of the United States.
General Robert E. Lee:
(early 40s) Strong in his convictions to stand up for his country. Commanding Army of Northern Virginia.
ONE DESTINY

Harry Hawk:
(late 20s- early 40s) An actor. Hides the shock of Lincoln’s death by concentrating on his work. Also plays Thomas Raybold, John Buckingham, and Dr. Charles Sabin Taft.
Harry Ford:
(late 20s- early 40s) Business manager of Ford’s Theatre. Beat up over the death of Lincoln. Also plays John Mathews and Ned Spangler.
