Caucasian man, mid 30s - early 40s. Maya's lover. Handsome, good build, intelligent, passionate, and self-assured. Mel is extremely likable and seemingly honest and sincere. Obsessed with Maya, he is willing to go to any lengths to have her to himself. Must be between 5'10” and 6' tall. Seeking actors with extensive training and experience only. LEAD.

Must be available for evening and weekend rehearsals.
