3 PM – Equity female dancers who sing very well New York City

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Bring sneakers. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song showing range. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled back-to-back.
OPEN (Equity/non) Auditions / Male Dancers: Monday, 12/5/11, 10 AM – 4 PM, Ripley-Grier Studios, 16th Floor. Male dancers only at this call. CD requests that AEA Members attend the ECC on 12/2. Producer will run all aspects of this 12/5 call. AEA audition procedures will NOT be in effect on 12/5, and no AEA Monitor will be provided.
Seeking, for the original company of the Broadway production:
Ensemble Singers (M/F):
Characters are 16-22 and 20s-40s, all ethnicities. Performers need strong singing voices and strong movement ability. Play a variety of characters in the ensemble, and possibly understudy principal roles.
Ensemble Dancers (M/F):
Characters are 16-22 and 20s – 40s, all ethnicities. Seeking strong, technically trained dancers with a knack for physicality. Think Michael Kidd. Many of the dancers should also tap and sing very well. Possible principal understudy assignments.
