Asher:
(Male 18+ to convincing play ages 12 – 30) A special and great artist. Gifted. An observant Jew. Painter of the notorious Brooklyn Crucifixions.
Riv / Anna / Rachel:
(Female Late 40s -60.) Asher’s mother. The mediator in the family. A conventional Orthodox Jewish woman. Also plays Anna, a gallery owner. And Rachel, a beautiful model.
Ari / Yitz / Reb / Kahn:
(Male Late 40s-60.) Ari’s father, a strong and sometimes frightening man. Orthodox Jew. Also plays Yitz, the father's older brother and Reb, the leader of the Jewish community and Kahn, an artist.
