Seeking:

Margaret Whitney:

Mid-to-late 50s. A self-described romantic, though her outlook (and humor) is wry. While she remains the same attractive woman she was in her 20's, she has grown lonely, and is setting off to find her ex-husband, 25 years-estranged.

Tom Whitney:

Late 50s - early 60s. A self-destructive alcoholic of great humor and charisma. He is in the process of actively alienating his fifth wife when Margaret, his first and best, shows up.

Francis:

Late 50s - early 60s. Sad. Dry. Funny. Unhappily married. In love with Margaret.

Louisa:

Late 30s -early 40s. Tom’s fifth wife. On her way out. Fed up, but still in love and trying to hold on. A bundle of contradictions. And like everyone surrounding Tom, she has a smart sense of humor.

Lowell, Massachusetts is 25 miles northwest of Boston.
