2 PM – Equity female singers who move very well. New York City

Updated prep instructions, posted 5:15 PM on 2/23/12: Prepare two 16-bar cuts – both an up-tempo and a ballad – from the Motown catalogue. Absolutely no musical theatre songs (no matter what show the piece is from). Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose.

Seeking Ensemble Singers (M/F):

Characters are all ethnicities, ages 20s-40s. Seeking singers with great pop/rock voices. Must move very well. Play various characters in the world of Motown. All actors must sing very well in the style of the characters they are portraying. All must also be subtle actors who can capture the essence of this time period.
