Sides from the script will be available 48 hours prior to audition. Visually impaired performers may request an advance copy of the sides when making an audition appointment.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held on 10/4. Actors must audition to be seen at callbacks.

Seeking (all roles are available):

Wendy McGruder:

Middle-aged. Was a majorette in high school, and has kept both her figure and her vigor. However, she has been thrown into a terrible state of confusion, dismay—one result of which is her searching for her old baton.

Jack Allison:

Middle-aged. Used to watch Wendy strut across football fields at half-time, and still has his memories. But not much time to make something of them.

Jack McGruder:

Wendy’s husband, who has made the worst mistake of his life.

Sarah McGruder:

Early 20s. College student. Wendy and Jack’s daughter, who is trying to make sense of her parents’ marriage at the same time that she tries to make sense of a relationship of her own.

Adam Vitelli:

Early 20s. College student. Sarah’s boyfriend, who is trying to make sense of Sarah’s attempts to make sense.

Paul Hodges:

Jack Allison’s doctor.
