11 AM - Equity female dancers who sing 520 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor

2 PM - Equity male dancers who sing New York City

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women, bring flats and heels. No singing at this call.

Please bring a current picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Tells the fictional story of Huey Calhoun, one of the first white disc jockeys who dared to play rhythm & blues music for his white teenage listeners in the early 1950s.

Seeking possible future replacements for the Broadway production, currently running. Casting director states that auditioning performers will also be considered for the upcoming tour of MEMPHIS (Short Engagement Touring Agreement (expected minimum weekly tour salary: $741); see also separate 3/21 tour ECC notice).

Dancers (M/F):

Character ages: 20s - 40s. Characters are all ethnicities. Dancers play various ensemble characters. Seeking excellent, athletic dancers who sing. Tumbling a plus for men.
