No appointment necessary. Theatre’s monitor arrives ½-hour prior to call for sign up.
Prepare a brief musical theatre song, and be prepared with a contrasting selection if asked. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose. No a cappella singing or karaoke tracks.

Seeking performers 18+:
Mr. Alonso Smith:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Mid - late 40s. Patriarch of the Smith family. Middle-class lawyer and family man. Slightly blustery and put-upon when dealing with his daughters’ potential suitors. Hilariously protective and very kind. Baritone (Ab - E).
Mrs. Anna Smith:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Mid - late 40s. Good and loving mother. Elegant, strong and exceptionally kind. Soprano (Ab - E).
Agnes Smith:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Seeking actress 18+ to play 10-13. Prankster sister. Leads Tootie astray from time to time. Seeking a cute actress with a strong sense of play. Range: A - E.
Ensemble (M/F):
AVAILABLE POSITIONS. Characters are early - mid 20s. Seeking strong singers who dance very well. Acting ability is a real plus, as Ensemble will play supporting characters throughout show.
The roles of Esther, Rose, Tootie and Lon Smith have been cast, as have the roles of John Truitt, Grandpa Prophater, Katie, Warren Sheffield, Character Man and Character Woman. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Theatre’s statement: “[Performers of] all ethnicities are encouraged to attend.”
