Love story of two adults, on the verge of 30, who are desperately in need of cutting the parental ties that bind them. Little Harry, stuck as a cook at his dad’s failing bistro, dreams of becoming a real chef on his own. Sherri, the landlord’s daughter, spent her 20s being pushed into a series of botched engagements, and is now back home, single and unmoored. Facing eviction, Little Harry asks Sherri out, hoping to save the restaurant. Their courtship of convenience unexpectedly blossoms into true love – and then implodes. With humor and heart, the show explores ideas about family loyalty, marriage, love and finding one’s path in life.
