10 AM – Equity female dancers who sing well 519 Eighth Avenue, 12th Floor

2 PM – Equity male dancers who sing well New York City

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women: Bring flat dance shoes or dance sneakers, street clothes, and wear little to no makeup. Men: Bring flat dance shoes or dance sneakers and street clothes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of a contemporary pop song. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

The songs of the pop group ABBA provide the score for this romantic comedy that contrasts the dreams and desires of a young woman about to become a bride with those of her mother, a free spirit of the 1970s who never married. Takes place at a taverna on a Greek island.

Seeking, for possible future replacements in the Broadway company:

Strong Contemporary Singers:

Characters are early 20s – mid 40s, all races, ethnic backgrounds and sizes. Some may understudy principals. All should have a great rock sound, and be able to move well.

Strong Dancers (M/F):

Characters are early 20s, all races, ethnic backgrounds and sizes. Seeking dancers with a contemporary, hip look. Must sing well. Some featured male ensemble positions have dance specialties for which Russian split jumps and acrobatics are a plus.
