Seeking:
Roland Stackhouse:
Male (Mid-Late 40s) Very likable, ambitious, unhappily married, father of two young boys, with only a High-School education. He has quit his job as a telephone installer in order to set himself up in a sort of psychotherapy, he himself has invented. He is anything but a con-man. He honestly believes that he and his invention can be of a great benefit to humanity. He is broke.
Karen Finch:
Female (late 50s) Extremely indecisive, passionately wanting more out of life. Native of Gutenberg, Iowa with a high school education. Attractive, innocent despite a harrowing life. Married to a sadistic billionaire. This is her fourth husband.
George Stackhouse:
Male (60s-70s) Roland's father, a self educated, self proclaimed marriage counselor and former travel agent.
Mildred Stackhouse:
Female (60s-70s) Roland's mother, who runs a ballroom dancing school down the hall and is a full partner with her husband George in all things.
Otis Fletcher:
Male (60-70s+) An eccentric, Harvard educated chain-smoker. His father was president of the Chase Manhattan Bank. Fletcher has pissed away his inheritance without ever having held any sort of job, without having accomplished much of anything, but has not yet totally given up.
