SEEKING:

Nessa Charles:

Mid to Late 20s. African-American. Hannah’s younger sister. Spunky, with great wit and humor. She is loyal to her sister while also being able to see her clearly. She is rooted in her family stories, and believes the superstitions she learned from her grandmother. Has all the qualities to be a standout and the center of attention but has always held back just enough to lose the star role.

Hannah Douglass:

Early 30s. African-American. Married to Rich, mother to Miles. Protective, a stalwart with a strong desire to be nurturing, but at times she is overwhelmed by the demands of her family.

Rex Taylor:

Early 30s. African-American. Lives in the late 1950’s. He is a successful doctor. Practical, resourceful and caring, knows how to put his foot down when necessary. Married to Lucy.

Joe Donovan:

Early 30s. Irish-American. Lives in the late 1950’s. He is a dreamer. Very charismatic, he has always followed his whims and has shown little practical sense of making a living. Possesses the smarts, charm and good looks to have been a big success, but has always lacked the follow thru to make it happen. He cares for his wife and family but has never been able to support them financially, and has not hesitated to lie in order to cover up his failures.
