Please prepare one monologue (up to three minutes long) or two contrasting monologues (totaling three minutes). There are no musicals in the season; no music, please.

Saul Levi Mortera:
60+. Chief Rabbi of Amsterdam. Softer and introspective. Charismatic leader of his small community.
Gaspar Rodrigues ben Israel:
Perhaps 50. A parnas of Talmud Torah. Carpet-seller. Self-effacing and gently comic.
