Please prepare 16 bars of a contemporary, up-tempo song from any genre. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

In addition, prepare an (approximately one-minute) “mini performance”. The material can come from any source or idea. iPod dock provided. Casting personnel will have “Friday” (see Sample A below) available and cued to the BEGINNING of the track. If using recorded music, please have it cued and ready.

“Mini-performance” springboard ideas include:

A) An interpretive dance that tells the story of Rebecca Black's “Friday” (video available at

http://ow.ly/4Qrbr , or do an Internet search for “Rebecca Black Friday”).

B) A contemporary rap song, performed as a dramatic monologue.

C) Tell a bedtime story that is anything but comforting... For example, “Once upon a time, the

world ended ...”

D) Be a news reporter doing a story on a gruesome accident or natural disaster – as a Disney

character.

E) Something of equal brilliance, of your choosing.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Boldly re-imagined and retold from the perspective of the dinosaurs, “Jurassic Parq: The Broadway Musical” is an unflinching meditation on gender, sexual and racial identity in an evolving landscape, destined to stun you with its Importance and Themes. Chaos is unleashed upon the not-so-prehistoric world when one dinosaur in a clan of females spontaneously turns male. The mutation spawns a chain reaction of identity crises, forcing the dinosaurs to question the very facts of life they’ve held as truth. There will be uncertainty. There will be blood. There will be shake weights. But above all, there will be Truth.
