Equity Chorus Call / Dancers:

Wednesday, January 12, 2011 Chelsea Studios

10 AM – Equity male dancers who sing well 151 West 26th Street, 5th Floor

2 PM – Equity female dancers who sing well New York City

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Bring jazz and tap shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare a brief, standard Broadway up-tempo song or ballad. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

New musical based on the life of Josephine Baker.

Seeking (CD states, “We MUST have a multi-ethnic company, so all ethnicities are encouraged to attend.”)

Female Dancers Who Sing Well:

Character ages: 20-30. Seeking Follies/showgirl types; beautiful, at least 5'8" tall, long legs, sexy. Must sing. Strong dancers! Jazz technique, some tap.

Male Dancers Who Sing Well:

Character ages: 20-32. Seeking masculine dancers over 5’10”, with good body. Must sing. Strong dancers! Jazz technique, some tap, gymnastic ability a plus. One male dancer will play…

    Hermann Goering: 45-60. Speaks English with a German accent. Powerful and lusty Nazi, with a bad temper and a long memory. Strong singer.
