EILEEN – CAST - a successful Broadway character actress. A veneer of crusty toughness covers the pain. Ages from 37-80. (Also plays Vera in Bus Stop.)
LUKE – CAST - her son. A playwright and director in his 40s. Gay, but not overtly so. Charismatic, likable, and easygoing.
MARILYN - the biggest movie star in the world at age 29. Smart, delicate, sensitive, and vulnerable...when she wants to be. (Also plays Cherie in Bus Stop.)
JOSHUA LOGAN/ARTHUR MILLER/OTHER ROLES – CAST - a character man in his 40s/50s who doubles as a variety of roles, including director Joshua Logan, 1st AD, Arthur Miller, Laurence Olivier, Studio Executive, Charlie Morrison, and the Rodeo Announcer.
ROSETTA LE NOIRE/ELLA FITZGERALD/PAULA STRASBERG – an African American actress in her 40s/50s. Rosetta - A feisty, non-nonsense character actress who is Eileen's best friend. Doubles as jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald and Paula Strasberg, Marilyn's acting coach. Sings the song “Hard Hearted Hannah” in the style of Ella Fitzgerald.

SYNOPSIS: Playwright Heidi Schreck breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans. In this hilarious, hopeful and achingly human play, she resurrects her teenage self in order to trace the profound relationship between 4 generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives.
HEIDI – Female, 40s. We meet her as an adult but she then captures the teenage girl on the debate stage (which is how she earned her way through college). Comfortable talking to the audience in a spontaneous and genuine manner, including occasional ad-libs
LEGIONNAIRE/MIKE – Male, 40s. Conducts the debate, sets the rules, and changes from Legionnaire to the actor himself (on which the part is based)
GIRL/STUDENT/DEBATER – Female, 18 + to play a real teenager. Shares the debate stage with Heidi, capable young debater

PAIGE CALDWELL – Female, late 20s to 40s. A professional pollster. A smart, confident woman with a professional’s view of politics: she sees life as a series of contests to be won.
DAVE RILEY – Male, 30s/40s. Chief of Staff to the Governor. Smart, but— despite years of experience in government — endearingly earnest and naive on the subject of politics.
LOUISE PEAKES – Female, 30s to 50s. A temp employee hired as the Governor's executive assistant. Likable, impressively confident, and entirely inept. She has the air of a politician about her. The friendliness of her smile, and the confident way she looks everyone in the eye, makes them think, I'd vote for her.”
NED NEWLEY – Male, 50s/60s. The new Governor. A man of impressive ability, but a complete lack of confidence. A man waiting permission to enter a room in which he is already standing.
ARTHUR VANCE – Male, 50s/60s. One of the most experienced and successful political consultants in the country. Smartly dressed. His overbearing personality, and confidence in his own opinions over the opinions of others, should make him dislikable, but his ego is more than tempered by the joy — even glee — he brings into the room. He’s a showman, but his excitement is 100% genuine, and it's contagious.
RACHEL PARSONS – Female, 30s./40s. A TV reporter. She has the looks to be an on-air correspondent though, if television had never been invented, she still would have been a journalist. Straight-forward and honest, and inquisitive by nature. She's seen enough of life - and politics - to be cynical, but she's more apt to make a wry joke.
A. C. PETERSEN – Male, 30s to 50s. A TV camera man. A working man, and, for most people, the guy you didn't notice was there. Sharp sense of humor. He has a low tolerance for stupidity or arrogance, and would rather not interact with anyone. His near-silence doesn't make him seem unfriendly, just a bit of a mystery.

IRA LEWIS – Male, black, 30s – 40s. Editor, Pittsburgh-Courier. Handsome. He would be the love child of Idris Elba and Cary Grant. Smooth talking and very good with comedy.
MADGE EVANS – Female, black, 30s – 40s. Reporter. Strong willed but with a soft edge.
JIMMY THOMPSON – Male, black, 20s. Letter writer. Slightly earnest. Truly believes what he is doing is right.
ANNIE CULVER – Female, black, 20s. Jimmy’s girlfriend. Sensitive but with a strong backbone. JOE BIBB/CHRIS THOMPSON – Male, black, 20s – 30s. Reporter/Jimmy’s grandson. FRANK/CLEM THOMPSON – Male, black, 30s – 40s. Reporter/Jimmy’s father.
WILLIAM TAYLOR/PETER – Male, white, 25 – 35. FBI Agent/worker. Strong willed but with a soft side that belies a secret.
CHARLIE SIMPSON – Male, white, 20s – 30s. Jimmy’s Supervisor. A pure racist.

SYNOPSIS: MURDER ON THE LINKS is a play based on the detective novel by Agatha Christie featuring her famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot. The plot revolves around the murder of a wealthy man named Paul Renauld.
Combining a classic whodunit mystery with farcical comedy and clever theatrical invention, MURDER ON THE LINKS is an engaging, fast-paced whodunit that celebrates Agatha Christie's mastery in crafting intricate plots, surprising twists, and complex characters.
It features more than 25 characters brought to life by a cast of just 6 actors.
HERCULE POIROT - CAST - The famous fictional Belgian detective created by British writer Agatha Christie.
CAPTAIN HASTINGS – Male, 30s. Narrator and best friend of Poirot. British.
MAN ONE – Male, 40s to 60s. Multiple French and British characters, both male and female. Doubles as a multitude of roles, sometimes switching characters in the blink of an eye. Comedic. Comfortable with both physical comedy and accents.
