George Bailey:
George Bailey is a fictional character and the main protagonist in Frank Capra's 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life. He was played by James Stewart. He is loosely based on George Pratt, a character in Philip Van Doren Stern's The Greatest Gift. Throughout the story, George is shown as a selfless person since childhood. We are definitely looking for that James Stewart type. This version of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE is more a play with music, but actor should be able to handle a tune.
Mary Hatch Bailey:
Becomes George's wife and mother of his children. Actress must have range to play both strong and meek. Donna Reed played this role in the 1946 film, and we are looking for that Donna Reed type
