Rehearses in NYC: 12/16 – 12/23/10. Move to Vero Beach, FL: 12/26/10.

Runs in Vero Beach: 1/13 – 2/6/11.

NYC auditions will be held on an upcoming date TBD.

Seeking:

Nathan Detroit:

Mid 30s-40s. A gambler who’s always one step behind a winning hand. Feckless, energetic and full of charm. Baritone. Charismatic comic character actor.

Sky Masterson:

Dangerously handsome gambler mid 30s. Smooth, sexy, and always in command. A man’s man who is perpetual catnip for the ladies. Baritone who moves well.

Nicely-Nicely Johnson:

Adorable comic tenor mid 30s. A large personality with a permanently sunny disposition.

Big Jule:

Imposing and dangerous gambler of indeterminate age from Chicago’s South side. Essentially a non-musical role. Could be a very large, tall man or a tiny one.

Sarah Brown:

Prim and attractive Salvation Army officer. Strong and forthright. Soprano. Late 20s early 30s.

Miss Adelaide:

Showgirl of indeterminate age. Cursed with a perpetual head-cold, she wears her heart on her sleeve. Strong comic skills a must. Mezzo who moves well.

Benny Southstreet:

Character man gangster, strong Baritone/ Tenor preferred. Late 30s to 50s

Arvide Abernathy:

Character man, Salvation Army worker; Strong but gentle, thinks before he speaks, Baritone/ Tenor Mid 50s - 60s

Lt Brannigan

Character man; commanding, Late 30s to 50s

General Cartwright:

Character woman; strong soprano preferred. Mid 40s - 50s

Harry the Horse:

Character man gangster, strong Baritone/Tenor preferred. Late 30s to 50s
