Seeking (all roles are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted)):

Sky Masterson:

30s-40s. Smart, handsome gambler. Romantic leading man-type with an edge. Good singer (baritone).

Sarah Brown:

20s. Prim but very pretty Salvation Army officer with a wild streak just waiting to spring out. Very good singer (soprano).

Miss Adelaide:

30s - early 40s. Showgirl (so the ability to move well helps) with a heart of gold. Not as dumb as she looks and acts. Comic tour-de-force. Very good singer (belt).

Nathan Detroit:

Mid 30s - 40s. Rogue and gambler, but also respected leader of his gang of ne’er-do-wells. Very funny actor needed who can sing some; not a major singing role.

Nicely-Nicely:

Mid 30s - late 40s. Nathan’s right-hand man. Funny character guy. Usually played overweight, but not a requirement. What is required is a spectacular singer with a high tenor range. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to audition.

Arvide Abernathy:

60s-70s. Salvation Army man. Sarah’s paternal figure. Kind and gentle. Lyric baritone.

Benny Southstreet:

Mid 30s - late 40s. Funny character man who can sing (baritone).

Rusty Charlie:

Mid 30s - late 40s. Funny character man who can sing.

General Cartwright:

Woman, 40s-50s. The uptight Salvation Army general. Very set in her ways about morals. Mezzo/high alto.

Big Jule:

Tough gangster. Could be very tall or very big OR very small.

Harry The Horse:

Another featured gangster.

Lt. Brannigan:

30s-40s. Featured acting role. Actor will cover Sky Masterson, and should sing well for this reason.
