Two-character play. Dark romantic saga. Explores the cost of wounded friendships. Over the course of 30 years, the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.

Seeking:

Kayleen:

AVAILABLE ROLE. Character is a woman; appears mid 20s - early 30s (actress plays ages 8 - 38). Kayleen is self-destructive and damaged, though never at a loss for a witty retort. Forms an unbreakable bond with Doug that only strengthens throughout the years.

Doug:

CAST (i.e. offer has been accepted). Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary. Character is a man; appears mid 20s - early 30s (actor plays ages 8 - 38). Doug is a troubled yet humorous accident-prone daredevil; always seeking the next thrill. Kayleen is the love of his life, even if he never says it outright.
