Please prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue. If interested in HAMLET, please also prepare a 1-minute Shakespeare piece.
Please bring TWO sets of your stapled-together picture & resume.

Thomas: Mid 30s.
Vader: Early 20s.
HAMLET by William Shakespeare, adapted by Tarell Alvin McCraney and Bijan Shebani. 1st reh: 12/11/12. Runs 1/12 – 2/10/13.
Hamlet:
Young man, early 20s. Actor should be well skilled in verse. Some sword-fighting.
Horatio:
Young man, 20s. Actor should be well skilled in verse, and should sing.
Ophelia:
Young woman, early 20s. Actress should be well skilled in verse.
Laertes / Rosencrantz:
Young male characters, early 30s. Actor does some sword-fighting.
Polonius / The Priest:
Male characters, late 40s, early 50s. Father to Ophelia. Actor should sing.
King Claudius / The Ghost / Old Hamlet
Queen Gertrude:
Woman, late 30s, 40s. Mother to Hamlet. Actress should sing.
Guildenstern / Actor / Osric:
Young male characters, early 20s. Actor needs comic timing, and should sing.
