Centers on legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites the young, rising Oxford don C. S. Lewis to his home in London. On the day England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash about love, sex, the existence of God and the meaning of life, just weeks before Freud took his own life. Deeply touching play filled with humor and exploring the minds, hearts and souls of two brilliant men addressing the greatest questions of all time.

Seeking:

Sigmund Freud:

AVAILABLE ROLE. Actual age 83 -- may be cast younger/older, provided actor can believably play 83. Requires a superb character actor with intelligence, wit, emotional availability, irony and passion. Dying of cancer, he gathers his strength in this debate of his beliefs he has dedicated his life to. Austrian/German accent required.

C. S. Lewis:

CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Late 30s, early 40s. Equally as intellectual as Freud, yet deeply religious. An Oxford don teaching Medieval Literature, before his rise to fame as a prolific author and poet.
