9:30 AM – 5:30 PM 165 West 46th Street, 2nd Floor

Lunch from 1 – 2. New York City

Please prepare EITHER a) a brief song (legit Broadway or Broadway pop/rock) OR b) a brief monologue OR c) 16 bars of a song and a 1-minute monologue. If singing, bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose.

Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back.

All dates are in 2012. All listed roles are available; these are the only roles that will be considered for Equity contracts (two actor positions (one of which may be Chorus) in each production will be on Equity contracts).

Guys and Dolls Mus Dir: Kevin Lawson. Dir/Choreo TBA. 1st reh: 6/5. Runs 6/12-6/24.

Nathan Detroit: 30s-40s. Comic Damon Runyon gambler. Baritone to F.

Nicely-Nicely Johnson: 30s-40s. Comic Damon Runyon gambler, always hopeful. Strong tenor to high Bb.

Sky Masterson: 30s - early 40s. Handsome, charming leading man-type gambler. Strong baritone to E.

Miss Adelaide: 20s-30s. Comic showgirl and gambler’s moll. Mezzo-belter to D.

Legally Blonde Dir/Choreo: Dann Dunn. Mus Dir TBA. 1st reh: 6/19. Runs 6/26-7/8.

Elle Woods: Mid 20s. Quintessential “valley girl” who learns who she really is. Soprano belt G2-G5.

Emmett Forrest: Mid 20s. Smart law student with both charm and strength. Tenor to A

Professor Callahan: 40s. Pompous Harvard law professor, a cad with some charm. Baritone to F.

Brooke Wyndam: 30s - early 40s. Video exercise star w/great body. Tough but sweet. Mezzo-belter to G.

The Rocky Horror Show Dir/Choreo: Larry Smiglewski. Co-Choreo: Dann Dunn. Mus Dir: Kevin Lawson. 1st reh: 7/3. Runs 7/10-7/22

Narrator: Over 30. Dry British humor. Rich baritone speaking voice. Strong presence.

Dr. Frank ‘n’ Furter: Mid 20s - mid 30s. Sex-crazed transvestite. Role requires great comic sensibility and star power. High rock baritone.

Riff Raff: Mid 20s - mid 30s. The eccentric butler. Performs “Time Warp”. Strong rock tenor.

Rocky Horror: Mid 20s. Body that doesn’t stop, and comfortable revealing it. High rock baritone.

West Side Story Choreo: Dann Dunn. Dir and Mus Dir TBA. 1st reh 7/17. Runs 7/24-8/5.

Tony: 20ish. Lyric tenor to Bb.

Maria: 20ish or a little younger. Lyric soprano to C.

Bernardo: Puerto Rican, early 20s. Handsome. Proud. Excellent dancer. Baritone to E.

Anita: Puerto Rican, early 20s. Spitfire. Excellent dancer. Mezzo-belter to D.

The Sound of Music Mus Dir: Kevin Lawson. Dir TBA. 1st reh: 7/31. Runs 8/7-8/19.

Maria Rainer: Mid 20s. Sweet, with strength and humor. Soprano.

Captain von Trapp: Mid 40s. Stern yet loving naval captain. Baritone.

Mother Abbess: 40s-50s. Sings “Climb Every Mountain”. Mezzo.

Elsa Schraeder: 30s. Sophisticated countess. Alto.

Max Detweiler: Comic friend of the Captain. Baritone.

Murder Among Friends by Bob Barry. Dir TBA. 1st reh: 8/14. Runs 8/21-8/26.

Both Equity-contract roles (see below) are cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.

Angela Forrester: CAST. 40s. Glamorous, sexy, sophisticated wife of a Broadway producer.

Palmer Forrester: CAST. Man, mid 40s - mid 50s. Elegant, sophisticated Broadway producer.

Barefoot in the Park Dir TBA. 1st reh: 8/21. Runs 8/28-9/2.

Mrs. Banks: Mid 40s - mid 50s. Straitlaced mother who tries to understand her kooky daughter. Victor Velasco: Mid 40s - mid 60s. Charming yet oddball upstairs neighbor.
