10 AM – Equity male dancers who sing very well 520 Eighth Avenue, 17th Floor (elevator to 16)
New York City
Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Jazz and tap shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare two 16-bar selections from traditional Broadway songs (ballad or up-tempo) that show off range and reflect the style of the show. NO POP, NO ROCK. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
Seeking the following only:
Male Swing:
To play 20s - mid 30s. Strong technique in all disciplines, including tap. Must also be a strong singer (traditional musical theatre). Seeking fresh, attractive dancer who can act, sing and dance in various period styles from 1920s to 1970s.
