Synopsis: F#@KING UP EVERYTHING is a rock musical comedy with heart. Set in today’s Brooklyn indie music scene, it is an old-fashioned boy-meets-girl love story for the 21st Century. When these hipsters aren’t true to who they are, they fuck up everything. Especially love. And no one fucks up more than children’s puppeteer Christian Mohammed Schwartzelberg when he meets singer-songwriter Juliana, the girl of his dreams.

Note: seeking all ethnicities

SEEKING:

CHRISTIAN MOHAMMED SCHWARTZELBERG:

Early 20s male. A young Woody Allen type, neurotic and bumbling. But sweet, sincere and madly in love. Experience working puppets is a plus. Sits mostly mid-range, low B - high G (opt. G#)

JULIANA:

Early 20s female. Beautiful, free spirited and kind. A little bit of a hippie. Just moved to Brooklyn to become a singer-songwriter. Guitar or ukulele experience a plus. Versatile indie singer/songwriter voice, mostly mid-range, low G - high Eb

JAKE:

Early 20s male. The sexy lead singer of the Brooklyn-based indie rock band Vanillaroma. Underneath his hipster bravado hides a lonely little kid. Guitar experience a plus. Rock/alt. rock voice, low C# - solid high G

TONY:

Early 20s male. Vanillaroma's stoner bassist. Sweet, goofy, perpetually dazed and confused. Must be able to really play bass. Low B - high F

IVY:

Early 20s female. A cute, sassy assistant manager of a food co-op. A bit of a hipster-geek. She acts like one of the guys but harbors a gargantuan crush on Jake. Mostly rock belter but not abrasive, low B (touches low G) - high D

ARIELLE:

30s female. An adventurous world traveller, super hot girlfriend to rock stars and hard-partying manager of a well known rock venue. Low G - high E

DRUMMER:

Early 20s - 30 male, must be a kick-ass experienced drummer who won't mind kissing another guy. Doesn't hurt if he's hot. Plays in the band on stage throughout the show. Preferably a strong rock baritenor to high A that can also handle harmonies, but must at least sing F-to-F
