Breakdown
Meet Tansy, the stunning and beloved burlesque star of Pandora's Box, and MC, the club's amorous and impulsive host. When the young starlet is offered an international burlesque tour, MC must make his impassioned plea before the cunning hijinks of those around him cost him his true love. Rhyming couplets, burlesque and vaudeville collide in this raucous tour-de-farce!
SEEKING:
MC
Male, Late 20s-mid-30s. An attractive and charismatic mix of dorky underdog and sexy charm. MC is truly the Master of Ceremonies, though in a Letterman-esque kind of self-effacing way, which is both endearing and humbling. A character always working from a deficit, he's a bit of a fumbler. He is unconventional. MC built the Tim Tam Room with Tansy three years ago and is secretly in love with her. MC SINGS WITH THE BAND THROUGHOUT THE SHOW.
TRIXIE
Female, late 20s-mid 30s. Trixie is sharp, decisive, playful, and will win by any means necessary. When Tansy announces her departure, Trixie creates a plan to ensure that she beats the bright-eyed Glinda to receive Tansy's crown as the Tim Tam's main attraction. She and Glinda have been dating for the last six months.
GLINDA
Female, early 20s-early 30s. Where Trixie is sharp in wit and personality, Glinda is softer and more easy. Book smart but not necessarily savvy, Glinda is more of a newcomer to the Tim Tam, posing a threat to Trixie upon Tansy's announcement that she'll be leaving one of them with the Tim Tam Room. While Glinda very smart, she is a step behind, just generally, but especially when it comes to Trixie's agenda.

TANSY
(Cast) Female, Late 20s-mid 30’s. Sultry, smoky, and sensual, Tansy has the room at the tips of her fingers. Born from another era, Tansy's aesthetes are 1950s pin-up with the prim and proper elegance of a lady. Tansy is the star attraction and co-founder of the Tim Tam Room. While she is confident and in charge, she wavers when it comes to what means more to her: love or career. She is secretly in love with MC.
PEEPS
(Cast) Male, late 20s-mid 30s. All-purpose custodian and stagehand silent clown whose heart was once so broken that ever since, he never has spoken.
