** Housing/Transportation Notes:

At IRT: 1 bedroom apartments at Candlewood Suites. Air travel to/from Indianapolis provided.

At Geva: Theatre provides fully furnished one bedroom apartments, equipped with kitchen, cable television, and free internet access, and personal air conditioner. Round-trip coach airfare from actor’s domicile to Rochester.

Actors should prepare standard British Accent for audition: play is set in 1897.

Dracula:

35-55; a sexy leading man with exquisite diction, He has style, an innate instinct for mimicry; worldly, sophisticated; learned, curious, wildly charismatic. Imposing physical stature and a lot of physical grace and prowess; can be gentle and very persuasive, as well as towering and raging; mercurial; instinctive; oozes sex appeal and sexuality. Sympathetic, yet mysterious; always a sense of underlying danger. Standard British Accent for audition

Lucy:

mid 20s; attractive in a conventional sense, vivacious; flirtatious but virtuous when human; susceptible, but strong; clever; witty; demonic and highly sexualized after she becomes a vampire. Standard British Accent for audition
