2 PM – Equity Male Dancers New York, NY
Please come ready to dance for all of the above auditions with comfortable clothing, ballet slippers and heels for women and comfortable clothing, character shoes and taps for men. You may be asked to sing afterwards, so please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. A contemporary musical theatre song is preferable. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose.
Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
PLEASE NOTE: At this Equity Chorus Call for Dancers, Non-Equity performers will NOT be seen. There will be an OPEN call for NON-equity dancers and EMC’s on Thursday, February 28th, 10:00am women dancers and 2:00pm male dancers, at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue, 12th Floor.
NOTE: Performers of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
SEEKING:
ENSEMBLE DANCERS
Males and Females 20s-40s, all ethnicities. Strong, technically trained dancers who also sing well. Possible principal understudy assignments.
