New down-home musical. Sean Sullivan had a troubled youth & was sent to prison at 17 for 15 long years. He’s now out on parole, & returns to town to reunite with the friends & girl he left behind. However, now that he’s back, he finds they have moved on without him--his girl, Carol Anne, has a young daughter (Charlene) & is set to marry one of his old friends (Danny) the next morning. Carol Anne wants nothing to do with Sean, having had no contact with him for 15 years, but their friends, Maggie, Bobby, Daryl & Carl, invite Sean to stay for the engagement party. Sean & Danny have it out after Sean, in front of everyone, grabs Carol Anne & kisses her. Joe, Carol Anne’s brother, tells her there is something she may not know about the night Sean was sent to prison. Can Sean make Carol Anne fall back in love with him, or will she marry Danny? What is the secret about Sean going to prison that’s been hidden for so many years?
