SALLY BOWLES-- 20s-30s; a British cabaret performer living in Berlin; star presence, true triple threat; magnetic and alluring; quirky and larger than life; dramatic and excessive; sexually aware of herself and uses it to her advantage; can be petulant and immature; excellent actor/singer with wide emotional range. Dancer or excellent mover competent in the Fosse style. Strong high belt.
CLIFFORD BRADSHAW-- 25-35; No shorter than 5'10"; educated American novelist traveling in Berlin; masculine, intelligent, practical, down to earth, slightly rigid; strong but sensitive. Excellent actor/singer with wide emotional range. Strong baritone to F.
