10 AM – Equity Male dancers who can sing harmonies 520 Eighth Avenue, 16^th Floor

2 PM – Equity Female dancers who can sing harmonies New York, NY

Wear comfortable character/dance shoes and clothing. Be ready and warmed up to learn combination(s). Bring (2) pictures and resumes, stapled. ALSO Bring 16 bars of music in the event you’re held to sing. Sheet music should be clearly marked; accompanist provided. Attendees must be available in New York for call-backs on Wednesday, March 2nd.

Note from AEA: Barter Theatre conducted its required chorus calls for both dancers and singers in January. This is an additional ECC for dancers.

Dancer-Singer-Actors:

Men and women. 20s. Who are comfortable working within a repertory company where everyone from principal to ensemble is considered and respected as equal. Dancer-Singer-Actors who can sing harmonies well in several styles including Country/Blues and Contemporary Musical Theater.

(Artists hired will also be employed, as cast, in Barter’s other Main Stage & Second Stage productions.)

Barter Theatre, celebrating its 78th Season, is a repertory company with two theaters in historic Abingdon, VA. The Barter is also a producer of national tours as well.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
