Centering around the question of what it means to be an adolescent woman of color in 2017, this production of Lookingglass Theatre's brilliant adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic will follow one young Black woman's journey through a world that feels as if the walls and floors are always moving, and the rules are always changing. Filled with movement, music, and spectacle (movement by the legendary choreographer, Rennie Harris) performed by a multi-racial and multi-gendered cast, this retelling of the iconic story seeks to celebrate and explore the many-splendored journey of coming of age.
