Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue that gives us a sense of you as an actor. If interested in Robin Hood, please prepare 32 bars of a folk song. Actors are encouraged to accompany themselves or sing a cappella. NO ACCOMPANIST WILL BE PROVIDED.

Wilbur:
Male, 20s. A small, lovable young pig.
Charlotte:
Female, mid-20s – mid-30s. A spider who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer”. She is beautiful, but a predator.
Avery:
Male, 20s. Fern’s younger brother who enjoys teasing her
The following roles have been CAST (NOTE: Auditioning performers will be considered as possible emergency replacements only.)
Fern:
CAST. Female, 20s. A young girl of ten who saves Wilbur and becomes his friend.
Mr. Arable/Gander:
CAST. Male, 30s – 40s. Fern’s father. Also plays the Gander on Zuckerman’s farm
Mrs. Arable/Goose:
CAST. Female, 30s – 40s. Fern’s mother. Also plays the Goose on Zuckerman’s farm.
Homer/Sheep:
CAST. Male, 30s – 50s. Fern’s uncle. Also plays the Sheep on Zuckerman’s farm
Edith/Lamb:
Female, 30s – 50s. Fern’s aunt/a not very welcoming animal on Zuckerman’s farm
Templeton/Lurvey:
Male, 30s – 40s. A gluttonous rat who can be talked into a good deed. Also plays a dim-witted hired hand on the Zuckerman’s farm.

Male, 20s – 30s. Dashing, daring, funny, and athletic. Fight experience necessary.
Maid Marian/Much:
Female, 20s. Smart, spunky, beautiful and cunning. Fight experience necessary. Also plays Much, a young boy who serves as a narrator.
Friar Tuck/Little John/Prince John/Will Scarlett/Soldier #1:
Male, 30s – 40s. A large man with strong comedic timing. Fight experience necessary
Sheriff/King Richard/Soldier #3:
Male, 30s – 50s. A dastardly and devious villain. Strong comedic skills and fight experience necessary.
Merry Men/Soldier #4:
Male or Female, 20s – 30s. A skilled musician and singer – ideally plays multiple instruments.
