Mid 50s. Charming, with a self-deprecating sense of humor makes him a sympathetic character, allowing him to deal with his detractors. While he carries the responsibility for an enormous tragedy, we do not see that side of his personality; the audience should question his guilt until the very end. Seeking an actor with a wide emotional range and the capacity to carry the play. LEAD
