Seeking:

Ruth Younger:

35 year old wife and mother. Employed as a maid, Ruth dreams of a better life and a home for her family.

Walter Lee Younger:

35 year old husband, son and father. He is a chauffeur but is filled with passion, rage, love, frustration; he fights for his dream and wants more for his family.

Beneatha Younger:

25 year old sister to Walter Lee. She is smart, passionate, free spirit, feminist. Not afraid to speak her mind. Dreams of being of a doctor.

Lena Younger:

60 year old widow and mother of Walter Lee and Beneatha. She is a strong, God loving woman. She fights for what she thinks is best for her family. She is a fighter and always speaks her mind.

Joseph Asagai:

29 year old Nigerian graduate student professor who is wise beyond his years. Has a passion for life, for Africa and for Beneatha.

George Murchison:

27 year old upper class African American, spoiled, privileged; likes Beneatha’s spirit but not her mouth.

Karl Lindner: 35 year old white middle class male. Friendly on the outside but has a deep dislike of African American people.

Bobo:

35 year old friend of Walker Lee. He is a simple, blue collar guy with a bit of edge.
