auditions@pittsburghclo.org. Include a preferred time range, which will be honored as sign-ups permit. Performers with no access to e-mail may call 412/281-3973. E-mail is highly preferred. Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits.

Please prepare 16 bars each of two songs in musical theater style: a ballad and an up-tempo song. Bring legible sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided. In addition to the songs, please prepare a one-minute monologue, done in a British accent.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Seeking (all listed roles are available; roles not listed have been cast (i.e. offers accepted)):

Note: No housing, transportation or per diem available to out-of-area performers.

Peter Cratchit: Late teens. Puckish. Horatio Alger type. Hopeful and hardworking.

Martha Cratchit: Early 20s. On the edge of womanhood. Warm in the company of family.

Fred: Late 20s/30s. Scrooge’s ebullient nephew. Happy, embracing and articulate.

Young Scrooge: 20s. Intense youth whose promising good qualities shrivel as he gains success.

Dick Wilkins: 20s. Good-natured, best friend of Young Scrooge. Hero worshipper.

Topper: 20s. Buffoonish friend of Fred.

Belle: 20s. Young Scrooge’s intended bride. Moral and good.

Fan: 20s or late teens. Scrooge’s young, ingenuous and gentle sister.

Mr. Fezziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present: 40s. Heavy, lusty, jovial, but ominously powerful.

Carolers: Seeking wonderful singers adept with small characters.
