About the Play:
The New Year starts off with a brand new musical featuring the songs and words of the legendary activist, songwriter and singer Pete Seeger. From the 1950s to today, Seeger’s unforgettable music has been part of a lifelong quest for reverence understanding, and hope.
We’re currently seeking to cast the following roles:
Pete Seeger – 40s – folk singer, story teller and song leader, political activist, guitar and/or banjo a strong plus.
Pete Seeger – 60s to 80s – does not need to sing, idealistic and passionate, great story teller, folksy, political, thin but physically strong, still chops his own wood.
