The Fairfield Ludlowe Drama Club presents The Great Gatsby, directed by Christy McIntosh-Newsom. Based on the 1925 novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and adapted for the stage by Simon Levy, The Great Gatsby follows a cast of characters living in Long Island in the summer of 1922. The story details Nick Carraway, a young bond salesman from the Midwest, and his involvement in the relationship between the young and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and the beautiful former debutante Daisy Buchanan. Considered to be Fitzgerald's masterpiece, THE GREAT GATSBY creates a portrait of the Roaring Twenties and one mans pursuit of the American Dream. Performances for this show are December 6th @ 7:30 pm, and December 7th @ 2pm and 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale for $10, just click the ticket link to purchase them.
