Celebrated entertainer Pia Zadora is back and reloaded! In an exclusive five-show engagement at the Metropolitan Room running August 5 to 10, Zadora premieres "Pia Reloaded," a fresh look at her legendary career and the soundtrack of her life. Playing Tues to Thurs August 5, 6, 7 and Sat & Sun August 9 and 10 (all at 7pm, except Thurs Aug 7 at 9:30pm), "Pia Reloaded" will head West for its West Coast premiere later in August.

Zadora, who was part of the excitement surrounding the 50th anniversary of "Fiddler on the Roof" at The Town Hall last month, ended a 15-year hiatus from the New York stage last February. In that show the native New Yorker gave her hometown a jolt of adrenaline as she showed off a nightclub persona that she is currently displaying week-in-and-week-out at her signature cabaret room, Pia's Place, which is within Piero's Italian Cuisine in Las Vegas.

The Grammy-nominated, Golden Globe winner began acting and singing on Broadway at the tender age of 6 alongside screen and stage queen Tallulah Bankhead. At age 10, Zadora embarked on a two-year stint as Tevye's daughter in the original Broadway cast of "Fiddler on the Roof," opposite Zero Mostel. Numerous featured stage roles followed in "Applause," "Promises Promises," "The Sound of Music," "Little Mary Sunshine," "Funny Girl," "Damn Yankees," "Dames at Sea," and a six-month stint starring in "Crazy for You."

Her films range from her breakout role in "Butterfly" (1982) for which she snagged New Star of the Year in a Motion Picture at the Golden Globes. Other film roles include John Waters' 1988 classic "Hairspray," in which the uttered the now infamous, "Let's get naked and smoke," as well as playing herself in "Troop Beverly Hills," and "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult."

In 1984 Pia was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance and enjoyed several #1 international hits during that time. She also toured with Frank Sinatra as his opening act, and appeared in concert with several symphonies across the country.

"Pia Reloaded" is music directed by Sinatra pianist Vinnie Falcone, and directed by the Emmy, Golden Globe and Las Vegas Star of the Year-winning producer Jeff Kutash. The all-star five-piece combo includes Bob Sachs on bass, Mike Mechem on drums, Joe Lano on guitar, and David Arana on keyboards. All gowns are immaculately conceived by Bob Mackie.

"Pia Reloaded" performs five times from Tuesday to Sunday (skipping Friday), August 5 to 10, all at 7pm except Thurs Aug 7 at 9:30pm. There is a $35 music charge and a two-drink minimum. For reservations call the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues), at 212/206-0440 or to order online visit www.metropolitanroom.com
