SHAMELESS star William H. Macy was honored this evening with his second win for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as "Frank Gallagher" at The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® presented by SAG-AFTRA. Tonight's win marks Macy's third Screen Actors Guild win overall. He was previously honored in 2015 for SHAMELESS on SHOWTIME, and in 2003 for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries in "Door to Door."

Recently picked up for an eighth season, SHAMELESS stars Oscar® nominee, Emmy® winner and three-time Screen Actors Guild Award winner William H. Macy as "Frank Gallagher" and Golden Globe® nominee Emmy Rossum as daughter "Fiona." The end of season seven found the Gallaghers dealing with the loss of their malfunctioned matriarch, Monica. As THE FAMILY grappled with mixed feelings about their grief, Fiona once again found herself playing caretaker to Frank. Debbie (Emma Kenney), Carl (Ethan Cutkosky), and Liam got roped into yet another of Frank's capers, while Lip (Jeremy Allen White) and Ian (Cameron Monaghan) took important steps to improve his future. Meanwhile, Kev (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton) got their revenge on Svetlana (Isidora Goreshter). Created by Paul Abbott, the series is produced by Bonanza Productions in association with John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television. SHAMELESS is executive produced by John Wells, Nancy M. Pimental, Christopher Chulack, Krista Vernoff, Etan Frankel and Sheila Callaghan. The network's No. 1 comedy series, SHAMELESS averaged 6.4 million viewers weekly across platforms in its seventh season.
