Miley Cyrus took to Twitter today to reveal the news that she will join the performance line-up of NBC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014.
Tweeted Cyrus: "Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!"
The legendary New Year's Eve global television celebration, "

Ryan Seacrest 2014" will also feature performances by
Capital Cities, Daughtry,
Ariana Grande and
The Fray from the West Coast party hosted by Fergie of
The Black Eyed Peas. All join previously announced performers
Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line,
Jennifer Hudson,
Enrique Iglesias and
Robin Thicke.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with
Ryan Seacrest 2014" is a bi-coastal celebration airing live from Times Square with a West Coast celebration, and coverage will begin at 8:00 p.m., ET on ABC. The evening will feature over five hours of special performances and reports on New Year's celebrations from around the globe.
Ryan Seacrest will lead the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City with "The View's"
Jenny McCarthy, and Times Square performers will be announced soon.
